Orders may require additional verification before dispatch.

3. Processing Time

Most orders are dispatched within:

Kaevor reserves the right to delay dispatch where:

  • payment verification is required;

  • incorrect customer information has been supplied;

  • fraud prevention checks are necessary;

  • stock reconciliation is required;

  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control occur.

Courier companies generally attempt delivery more than once.

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • no recipient is available;

  • the address is inaccessible;

  • delivery instructions are incomplete;

the parcel may be returned to Kaevor.

Any additional delivery charges incurred for re-delivery shall be the responsibility of the customer unless the failed delivery resulted solely from an error by Kaevor.

10. Ownership and Risk

Ownership of products passes to the customer only after full payment has been received.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the customer or a person authorised by the customer to receive the goods, in accordance with applicable South African law.

Nothing contained in this clause limits any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act.

11. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers should inspect their parcel immediately upon delivery.

If:

  • packaging appears damaged;

  • products appear missing;

  • products appear incorrect;

  • products appear defective;

customers should:

  • photograph the parcel before opening where reasonably possible;

  • retain all packaging;

  • notify Kaevor within 48 hours of delivery.

Prompt notification assists us in investigating claims with our courier partners.

12. Lost Parcels

If tracking indicates no movement for an unreasonable period, customers should contact Kaevor.

Kaevor will investigate the shipment with the courier company.

A parcel will only be regarded as lost after confirmation from the courier.

Where a parcel is confirmed lost before delivery:

Kaevor may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law:

  • replace the order; or

  • issue a refund.

13. Incorrect Items

If you receive an incorrect item, please notify Kaevor within 7 days of delivery.

Provided the item is unused and in its original condition, Kaevor will arrange collection where appropriate and dispatch the correct product or provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with South African consumer legislation.
